Munky rejoins Korn

Korn guitarist James Munky Shaffer who left the group's European tour last month for "personal and family reasons" rejoined the band in Milan this past weekend.

"I can't wait to get back to the UK," Munky told Kerrang! "It really hit me hard when I wasn't able to play in January, I hate the idea of letting any of our fans down, so I promise to give it my all when we play next week!"

Korn's upcoming UK shows are as follows:

03 London, Brixton academy
04 Wolverhampton, Civic Hall

Munky's Back!!

Wicked i went to the Birnmingham and london show in january and realy missed munky, London is gonna rock next week!! nice to see him back

Great to hear!

I was really dissapointed when I found out he wasn't playing a few days before the Cardiff show. Download was great when they had Joey Jordison in though, couldn't see a fucking thing though, so many people.

That said, it was a fucking great gig and I can't wait to see them again some time. Brilliant setlist.

I love how kerrang were so up to date in telling us this a week later than he returned! o well they kicked ass without him in january and it gonna kick double ass on monday! great setlist and for you who says korn suk, their legends mate, 15 years now, 8 studio albums each on different to the last, better than ur run of the mill factory line bands out today! so FUCK YOU yeah! woooo

its fucking brilliant to hear that he's back, i'm not a big fan of korn but when bands go through the shit they've been through, its brilliant to hear that their members return stronger than ever
