Metallica and Pearl Jam to headline Manchester festival

Metallica and Pearl Jam will headline this year's Bonnaroo festival which runs from June 12 to June 15 in Manchester, Tennessee.

Also on the bill is Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, The Raconteurs, Death Cab for Cutie, Gogol Bordello, Mastodon, Against Me!, Minus The Bear, All-girl Led Zeppelin tribute act Lez Zeppelin and The Sword.

The festival coincides with Britain's Download festival (which runs from June 13 to June 15) so it's more than likely that none of the aforementioned bands will be playing Download.

Grrr!

You're missing the point guys. The whole point of the story is to say that none of those bands will be at Download, although I'm sure they can't blatently put it like that because of embrgos and stuff.

Metallica is the best band ever, man! they fookin rule!! Why the hell arent they playing at download, i was planning on going this year to see them, and then i found out theyre playing ...bannaroo? wtf? Theres goes the start of my summer.
