Paramore instores

Paramore will be signing copies of their new single, Misery Business, which will be released through Fueled By Ramen / Atlantic on February 11.

The band will appear at Newcastle's Northumberland Street HMV at 5PM on Tuesday February 12 and at Leicester's High Street HMV at 5PM on Wednesday February 13.

Wristbands to gain entry to the signings will be available from the shops from the moment they open, on the day of the signings and will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

Record Company cashing in

right i'm not even a fan of paramore but i thought i'd post anyway

i really hate the fact that record companies see it right to re-release singles to try and cash in on a bands popularity, i remember when 'im not ok (i promise)' got released 3 times. i can understand if a band was small and relatively unknown first time around (which was the case with MCR), in which case a second release is worthy. But in all honesty paramore don't need this, they were big enough the first time around. i think this is unfair on the fans who purchased it the first time around aswel, especially if there's is a lack of new content included, in my opinion new versions and live tracks arent good enough. if it's the case with this re-release, and if i was a fan, then i wouldnt buy it.

People moaning -STUPID

Okay people...stop fucking complaining about them not coming to your area ect ect. Be thankful that they're actually making an appearance. It's a better effort than other bands, such as MCR [who, as mentioned before, released a single 3 times here and I can only guess that they didn't have a meet and greet] are making. Don't get me wrong - MCR reached their peak and they were good then but the Black Parade fell on it's arse cause all the wannabes and the messages were over emphasised.

Paramore are doing well. None of them have been reported to be on drugs and their sound is fresh and addictive. Those of you who disagree, then share your opinions but don't get pure animated -it's stupid esp when it's within a comment.

I think it's good they're re-releasing Misery Business - it was the song of the summer for me and at that - bloody ace. They're trying to well and truly crack the UK and it may be achieved through this re-release.

i cannot believe all the bithing and moaning about paramore, firstly if you live in london and like paramore that much do what real fans do, whatever band your into, and travel your lazy ass to the nearest signing/venue, whether it be scotland or japan, if your a fan you dont bitch, you travel to support your band, and secondly i fully understand the misery business re release, whatever jack off posted on here saying when they released the orginal single they were really popular is full of shit, the song barely got air time 1st time round, the 2nd release barely got air time, "hallelujah", it was't until they put crushcruhcrush as the 3rd single out did they get proper air time, and that was thanks to joe whiley, so the comment of "they were alrealy popular enough" is bullshit, i never heard a single track off "all we know is falling" (1st album) on radio....Ever, so thanks to the likes of the joe whileys in this world who gave paramore real nationwide exposure they can now release misery business and it be properly recognised by a mass audience and i hope they do well with it, and they can do a proper tour and clearly your not a fan if you wont fork out a mere £1.99 to support and make your favourite band a succes, stop bitching and support rock musc, thank god paramore get national air time, there a damn site better than timberland, or pink or j-lo or any of that bullshit we have to put up with topping our charts!!!!!!!!!!! all yours truly..an annoyed rock fan at the state of you bitches!! \m/ rock on,

usually companies insist a band re-release the most commercial song on an album, after the band have established themselves to a wider audience.
they released it a few months ago in the uk, and everyone who knew the band, knew the song and loved it. But a band like paramore are constantly atrracting new fans all the time, so for example if the record company believes the band have twice as many fans as the month previous, they will release the song that most people will like the best. and that song so happens to be misery business.
its hardly companies cashing in, at the end of the day, people who work for paramore's record company, and the 4 members of paramore are all doing it to make a living.
whatever job you do, you need to make a living, and if releasing your biggest hit means doubling your wages or whatever, then im sure no-one involved in paramore will be against the idea

the only other person to do a signing in leicester has been michael palin!
im definatly going! best thing thats come to leicester in a long time, our venues are shit!!
plus they are playing at de montfort hall, in leicster which is technically a theatre!! why??
finally a signing outside of london!!

Sometimes when bands tour and dont come here, its proper gutting.
but they ALWAYS (well nearly) go to London.
and some lass up there is complaining 'cos Paramore arent sigining there?!

I PHONED HMV 2NIGHT TO ASK HOW MANY WRISTBANDS THEY GIVING OUT AND THE LAD TOLD ME IT WAS CANCELED COS THE BADN ARE COMIN BACK 4RM AMERICA AND ITS 2 TIRING AND THEY GOT SOUNDCHECK..........

ANY1 SEEN THIS ON THE MYSPACE OR HMV WINDOW????

no one knows yet if its still happenin or not. i spoke to alan who looks after their publicity over here and he said he wont know til tomorrow. hayley said on the livejournal that theyre going straight from the airport when they get in to the soundcheck. but an interview with metro radio (to be done at the venue) has got to be recorded aswell. i wonder what time they getting in to fit all this in! either way they have to do the signing :( if they turn round and say "we were rushing too much to make it" or "had too much to fit in" then they should have thought about that before confirming it

paramore cancelled.

Kerrang! i am not impressed.
i took the whole day off school to queue up for the Paramore concert today, and i managed to get myself a wrist band to meet them at the HMV signing.
so for 12 hours i waited in line, on my own - might i add, with about 11 girls who spent all day arguing over who is gayest, just to find out the HMV signing was cancelled.
so, not only was i already gutted, but i continued to wait another 4 hours in the freezing cold until my friends joined me. so i imagine you can guess just how much a kick in the nuts finding out the gig was CANCELLED is.
supposedly Paramore got stuck in traffic in York, which is fair enough i suppose. i'm mainly just annoyed that the security guards waited until bang on 7 oclock when the doors were supposed to open to break the news.
and to top it all off, im in deep doo-doo with my school and family, cheers.

they are a fucking embarrsement to music, there music is fucking terrible and their singer is a fucking ginger whore! there fans are nothin but teenies no one over 14 probs. listen to some proper music like bfmv,a7x etc
