Gerard and Jared for K!'s sexiest female?

Who won Best Band of 2007? Will it be My Chemical Romance or will it be Lostprophets? Who won Best Unsigned Band? Who was voted Sexiest Male of 2007? You voted in your hundreds of thousands, and the long-awaited results of the Kerrang! Readers' Poll 2007 hits selves tomorrow.

However, there's one slightly odd result that the judges had to put their collective foot down on. It seems that the majority of you out there in K! Land nominated My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way and 30 Seconds To Mars vocalist Jared Leto for the much coveted Sexiest Female Of 2007 gong!

As pretty as Mr Way and Mr Leto may be, and as much as they're not adverse to a bit of make-up, unfortunately, we had to disqualify them.

So who actually did you vote as your Sexiest Female Of 2007 then?

okay, well firstly there is a point that if you do not like these bands then dont comment how much you hate them - waste of time.

secondly... i dont agree with MCR "saving" peoples lives from depression. only you save YOU from depression, no-one else. cause everyone is in a different position. but im glad your not depressed anymore, no-one should be.

and thirdly... im sorry, you may like them but mcr ARE big heads. i think they even know they are. there is a line between confidence and bigheadness...they crossed it in my mind. after their 2nd album they were fine and could have been a great band that people respected but i think they kinda lost it from then on. not "dissing" the music...just them abit really. they could be really nice people for all i know but i dont like bands who get ahead of themselves before they really conquer like mcr and trivium...they should say what they say now when they are the ages of iron maiden, metallica, van halen, led zepplin, etc..

Personally I think MCR have been in the lime light for too long and it just getting boring nowadays.

I'm not saying that they are crap or anything I mean I loved "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" but "The Black Parade" is really over rated. The forst single for the Album was awsome and I loved when I heard I had chill down my spine but the album was abit dissapointing. It just sounded to popy and didn't really seem to have that much aggression to there music unlike TC4SR which had abit more anger to it it almost sounded like metal.

That might be another thing why they are getting alot of abusve from Metal head because at download they just sounded way too popy for a headlining act of a Metal festival.

But at the same time they are getting way too much abuse at the moment, but least they still keep there hopes strong and leas are there for the fans.

If you're gonna give an award like "sexiest female" to a guy, it should be to a guy like William Beckett.

He's a babe... but he's also quite girly.

But also I think it's funny how people are like "OMG THEY DESERVE TO WIN" when it's not really like they're working for it, so why would they deserve it? Haha. Yeah. I'm not dissing MCR or 30STM (I'm a pretty big 30STM fan, actually), but their fans make me giggle sometimes (esp. MCR's).

Who Truely Deseves to win

If it was judged on talent and hard work, rather than a popularity contest judged by 12 year olds, the following bands should of been reconised:

Jimmy Eat World for the realese and sucess of new album realesed in october, 'Chase this light'.

Kids In Glass Houses as the best unsigned band!

Hayley Williams as sexiest female, because to be perfectly honest she is one of the most naturally beautiful girls in the mainstream music scene right now.

Ian Watkins will always be sexiest male in my eyes [even if he does prefer blondes *gutted*]

and I am very anoyed to see all the same bands, that I could of guessed would get noticed, winning.

Cummon! Make a rule that only 17 year olds and over can vote XD

Okay, it was funny the first year, but please tell me it's not going to happen again this year.
I mean, I'm a HUGE fan of BOTH of these bands, especcially My Chem, but it's getting a bit repetitive now.
But I'm so pleased the Ville Valo won Sexiest Male, and Hero of the Year, and that MCR won Best Band, AND worst band, because it shows that some bands are still making a difference to music fans.
