Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger pleaded not guilty to a drunk driving charge at Canada's Surrey Provincial Court last week. The singer, who was not present during proceedings, had his lawyer enter the plea on his behalf.
Kroeger was pulled over for speeding in June 2006. At the time police claimed the singer blew over the .08 legal limit for alcohol and his $170,000 Lamborghini was impounded.
The minimum sentence on conviction is a $600 fine and a one-year driving ban. The case continues.
