Dimebag action figure on the way

Former Pantera and DamagePlan guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott is the latest rock icon to be immortalised in plastic figure form.

The limited edition toy, which will stand nine inches tall, features the late guitarist shredding during Pantera's classic Far Beyond Driven era.

The action figure will be available in December through Knucklebonez.

i think this whole idea of dead rockstar action figures is kinda sick i mean the kurt cobain one was bad enuf but now this. Its wrong for people to be capitalising on a dead man they shud just let him rest in peace.

I think its a kool idea to have a figure, but then again, it suckz as people are tryna make a profit out of a famous legend who's death was a big shock and disappointment to all of us-aint tht kinda exploiting it in a way?
But i wouldnt buy the figure personally. its like tht kurt cobain figure as well.

To address Gazz- there truly is no hope for a dumbass like yourself. "Witty" comments about a man who truly was metal and had the biggest heart of any Cowboy From Hell.
And as far as turning a buck- It will always be done as long as there is money to be made, however a toy is harmless compared to some of the bootleg books and CDs that certain unscrupulous people have produced en mass immediately following Dime's death.
I suggest a song by MachineHead called "Aesthetics of Hate" written about the pure cluelessness of a TV announcer following the incident. He said that Dimebag deserved it because of the kind of hateful music he played.Unbelievable...
