Finch reform

Californian emo heroes Finch have decided to reform.

The line-up will now consist of Nate Barcalo (vocals), Alex Linares (guitar), Randy Strohmeyer (guitar/vocals), Drew (drums) and Daniel Wonacott (bass).

"This is going to fucking rule," say the group in an online post.

See www.myspace.com/finchmusic for more details.

Please let them continue their strong line of maturing and make an album in the style of the second one! The first one was a crap mixture of second hand The Used songs.. Their second album was a very well-thought-of album full of great songs!

Cool to see them come back. I hope I get a chance to see them on some tour.

Do your research.
Finch had been on the scene a long time before the used were, and long before mccracken got a lucky break on the osbournes.
I'm thirty, i'm old enough to know.

This is amazing news, but I bet hardly anyone will comment about it, if there was a post about Gerard Way getting a hair cut there would be about 300 responses, it makes me sad that awesome bands like finch get no real recognition

Woohoo!!

Great news, lets just hope that they don't make a repeat of their 1st album and continue on with the work they made on their second album.

finch reform

great news

but why would they want to make music more like their first album, they made it no secret they hated most of the song off that album most notibly 'letters to you' which they refused to play while touring the 2nd album

anyway the 2nd album was way better

cant wait to see em at the glasshouse. i hope they mix the next record with both albums but in a mature way. granted the 1st album made them who the are but the 2nd is different and just as good. a bands progression is whats makes them interesting. i admit i wasnt crazy for the change but i respected it.
anyone saying is a fan of finch and is dissing one album and liking the other can jus suck 8======D

It makes me laugh that people didn't appreciate their 2nd album.

I know a lot of the scene kids loved what it is to burn as it came out in the UK just as the emo scene was starting to pick up over here, but it was out in the states a fair while before that.

The gap between What it is to burn and Say hello to sunshine was a lengthy one, and to be honest, I'm glad they didn't just do a clone of their first album.

Say hello was a really good album, musically it was tight and the lyrics were quality and well written.

Keep up the good work lads. Cant wait for your next installment :D

If someone said to me before I heard this news;
"If you could choose any band that are not making music anymore to get back together, including bands who've members have died, which would you chose?"
I would have said Finch without a seconds hesitation. Even over Nirvana.
