Darkest Hour for K! Most Wanted tour

Darkest Hour have signed up for a series of intimate K!-sponsored Most Wanted! shows at Barfly venues up and down the country.

The Washington DC melodic death metallers will slay Aberdeen on January 18, Glasgow 19, York Fibbers 20, Birmingham 21, Cardiff 22, Cambridge 23, Brighton 24 and London 25 with support from Glamour Of The Kill.

"We're going to give it our best shot and blow away people's New Year's hangovers," laughs frontman John Henry. "We're pretty stoked to be playing some small clubs again. It's a lot more fun to see us in an intimate setting anyway, we like to get up close and get everyone involved... we're a good time rock 'n' roll band, so we'll be bringing the good times!

"Your country has this huge pub culture - there are more bars than anything else so that's always a good start!" adds Henry. "I'd say the smoking ban you have in the UK now pretty much sucks, and it really hit us last time round, but we're cool now. We'll take the party to the streets instead. We're going to start the year Darkest Hour style - loud music, strong drinks and good times. This shit's gonna rule!"
