MCR: Gerard ties the knot

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way apparently got married this past Monday (September 3) to Mindless Self Indulgence bassist LinZ in Colorado.

The pair tied the knot following the final date of Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour. A member of tour promoter Live Nation's staff, who is also an ordained minister, performed the low-key ceremony.

Gerard himself has said that emo is a pile of shit. It is nothing of what the band tries to be. They're about saving your life as emo is about killing yourself. Label them as you will but they are not a can of soup and say Revenge sucked but it is known as one of the most amazing records ever made. You don't criticize someones emotions and writings into a song that made an album. It revolves around the death of their grandma and you can't label that, it's real. Quit living in your head with the thought My Chem or Gerard being emo face the reality of it. Emo isn't about cutting your wrists or being depressed, it's technically just an excuse for boys to dress in drag and borrow their sisters eyeliner. Now, I have more important things to do than explain the most amazing band ever to a wretch like yourself.

i agree with you. i'm a huge mcr fan and i'm very happy for gerard. the bands happiness means a lot to me because they make other people happy. they deserve all the best and i'm so happy for gerard and lindz.
