Manson to record Xmas album with girlfriend?

Marilyn Manson is apparently working on a spooky Christmas album with actress girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood. The pair, who have up until now only collaborated while doing karaoke, would love to rework some festive favourites gothic stylee.

"If we were going to do anything, that's what we would do," says Wood. "Just because it would be hysterical."

Wood also admitted that she and the Double M are karaoke addicts and frequent New York karaoke bars regularly.

"The first time I looked at him and said, 'I'm gonna sing one of your songs.'," says Wood. "I was just threatening, as a joke, but then I saw 'Lunchbox' in the karaoke book. I don't think he thought I knew the song. I went up onstage and just screamed it and sang it, sat back down, and he looked at me and said, 'I'm so in love with you. You have no idea.' It was really awesome."

Other Manson / Wood karaoke favourites include Journey's Don't Stop Believing and Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run.

Manson's xmas album - if it ever did happen - would be more of an event than anything else this year. Okay so the last album wasn't as good as "Grotesque" (his best ever!) but he still walks the walk and definitely talks the talk. This man is the Devil incarnate - and I for one worship Him with all my heart and soul.

I'm replying to this comment because it really struck me as a pretty smart thing to say!
Yes, the majority of the people who go on this sight are in their teens and might be a bit hormonally driven to leave insulting comments but maybe we should stop the "faggot", "bastard", "emo slut" [not on this page in particular but i've seen a few stories where that was used] etc. name calling? It's a bit juvenile.
Personally I don't like Manson [I hated him long before his My Chem onslaught] but I think maybe we should keep our insulting opinions to ourselves. Only give an insluting comment if we have a good reason eg. if you were an ex fan and wanted to say that this kinda thing was why you stopped liking the artist in question.

i love marilyn manson and i am totally behin him with this album. i prefere his old copied work more to his new album because he gives classic pop such a twisted rock sound. it's insane! i can't wait to hear what he does with the christmas album.
