Led Zeppelin reform

Led Zeppelin will reform to play a special tribute concert to former Atlantic Records label boss Ahmet Ertegun on November 26 at London's O2 Arena. This will mark the first time the seminal British rockers have played live together since 1985's Live Aid concert.

Robert Plant (vocals), Jimmy Page (guitar) and John Paul Jones (bass) will be joined by Jason Bonham, the son of their late drummer John Bonham.

Support will come from Pete Townshend, Bill Wyman And The Rhythm Kings, Foreigner and Paolo Nutini.

Tickets are priced £125 and will be allocated at random (limited to two per household) to fans who register their details at www.ahmettribute.com.

They're like an awesome band, who influenced a generation of music. But I'm sorry they're doing it for the money, £125 for one ticket, are you kidding me?!

WHAT?!

All you stupid emo kids. Yous have no respect for bands that were huge influences on the bands you listen to now. If Led Zep never happened then most bands that you hear now wouldn't exist. I'm glad their reuniting to pay tribute to their Drummer who recently died, not their record label boss. So show some resepect you ungrateful arseholes.

I think that it's fantastic that Zep are reforming, even if it's only a one night show, but £125 a ticket?! Surely Plant and co must know that most of their fans aren't wealthy enough to afford such excessive prices?

please shut it, the money is going to scholarships for kids to play music in uk usa turkey, they are still out selling bands of today and certainly do not do it for the money for themselves,
the bloody link is not working, i so want to go it hurts,

Led Zep

Its interesting to see the Kerrang! fans from back in the day (when K! actually covered decent bands instead of FoB every week) vs. the new skool fans of the sell-out, sensationalist bullshit Kerrang! (don't believe this week's issue, it has NOTHING to do with Foo Fighters splitting up)...

Here we are, telling you how fucking important and great Led Zeppelin were as a band... "old is not another word for classic"... noone said it was, dickhead, and there are hundreds of bands from the 60s, 70s and 80s that noone gives a shit about anymore... but the DO about Zep, cos Zep FUCKING RULE!... and you little cocksuckers don't give a shit
Needless to say i'm not going to this gig, £125 is a ridiculous amount of money... but the point remains, Led Zeppelin were a zillion times better than any band to come out this decade.

And to the twat near the top, John Bonham died in the 70s, this show really is about the record producer.

Whine about the ticket prices if you like, and yes £125 seems expensive, but it's been reported that 20 million people hit the registration site in one day. Chances are you won't have to pay that cash. What I love is the fact that my favourite band can still create this buzz nearly 30 yrs after splitting. And all you guys mocking the band; ask yourself is your favourite band going to create such a fuss in thirty years time. The answer by the way is -NO! No other band is, has, or will

For Sale: One Soul

Well, I'm in the ballot, everything is crossed. Now if I'm successful, I've got a couple of things for sale, my soul, my self respect and if that doesn't raise £125 (don't forget the booking fee they'll stick us for too) I'm got a nice kidney if anyone wants it?

hello

it's led zeppelin.

i'm completely broke but will some how find a way to raise £125 (if i get a ticket) to hear and see the words of stairway to heaven come from robert plant's mouth.

"There are two paths you can go by
But in the long run
Theres still time to change the road youre on.
And it makes me wonder."

it's the greatest song ever.
sometimes you have to pay a lot to see something great.

oh dear

it is a sign of the times when you get kerrang reporting the come back of one of the most influential bands ever FACT and all you get is a prepubesent wanker saying they are out dated.

they revolutionised music, just because you like HIM, MCR and other 'bands' in the same ilk it doesnt mean you can disrispect the legends!

also can we not have this split with old vs new skool. it doesnt need to happen. i like all music that is done for musics sake (not for money or to make sad little 12 year olds cut there wrists) STOP THE HATE, BRING THE LOVE, LISTEN TO KASHMIRE

You know as soon as someone says they don't like Led Zep the fans immediately assume that they must be emo's or whatever. I like most classic rock, from The Beatles to Black Sabbath, and I can't stand Led Zeppelin!
