Yay for the first review of the new Aiden album! It leaked, so people have already downloaded it, but i refuse to. I am one dedicated fan!
On the day it comes out, i'm getting the first train to Bristol which is 6:19am just sio i can see outside the Galleries till like 9 - 10 when it opens, so then i'll be like

there are good bands around that are new but because you listen to whats put on the plate you dont get to hear it. Black Light Burns, Dresden Dolls, Emilie Autumn, Trashlight Vision and Patchwork grace to name a few. Think Ouside the box man.

If your pissed off about the state of music today look for the good bands. Judging by the bands you do lke id check out trashlight vision, patchwork grace and engerica (rip)

And i look for good bands in kerrang but never seem to find them cause there always writing about gerrards new haircut. I'l check out those bands you recommemded but to be honest id rather listen to the older stuff then sucumb to the trash tht is modern pop punk call me grandad all you like at the end of the day im not gona lower my musical taste

yeah diamond sea has a point, i remember the days when they used to write about music and people worth caring about but the thing these days its just a fucking emo mag they shud change the slogan to "cry in the dark" instead of "live life loud". and as for calling u grandad well im 22 and that hardly counts as old but then having sed that most peopl who read this mag these days are like 12. but Bentos is right about sum of the bands he listed dresden dolls and emile autimn are awesome and they both have myspace pages so u can here them there and if u have a really obscure taste then check out Anna Varney.

i would also like to say some thing to raaah get a fucking life u stupid pathetic scene kid how the hell can u say that about vinnie paul have some fucking respect, hell yeah are awesome and even better life ok dont get me wrong mudvayne and pantera are both far better but they are still a thousand times better than any fucking scence shit thats going on right now jesus fucking christe mun, how i wish i had a tim machine so i could go back to the early 80s and live thru a time of really music and real fucking people

Me again.

SO. This week.

- 10/10 For Aiden album stuff <3 Genius.

- MCR/NOFX/Foos/Still Remains stuff should be fun/interesting/yummy*

But... the rest of it sounds, well, pretty dull... What a terrible tour that F.V. one must have been. I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to least; more "oooh i'm such an arrogant/controversial psycho freak asshole" from Jonathan Davis, some "We have crabs and sleep with anything blonde cos we're rockstars!" crud from Trivium, "I hate my boyfriend/ex-boyfriend/My life is so terrible/I'm so miserable/Music frees my soul" rubbish from Evanescence, ANYTHING said by Atreyu, or a "wow, people are actually taking a remote interest in me again. FUCKYEAH!!" article of self promotion from Vinnie Paul.

As for the rest, I don't have any desire to travel into Serj's mind, RATM should have stayed disbanded, NIN should also call it a day (they've had great careers already, they're getting on a bit now, and at the moment I only get excited about Trent Reznor when I imagine him as Professor Snape), and, frankly, nice guys as they are, Bowling for Soup should NOT be on posters!!
But since they are... Patrick Stump!!?! He is soooo much hotter. And ADORABLE. Wouldn't he look great dressed up as a sandwich?


Final thoughts of the day:

-Next week's issue: Patrick Stump posters (topless?), Taking Back Sunday, Run-up to Decaydance Festival (you might as well milk this one), Brand New (grossly underrated and under-represented), and perhaps some more Panic! At The Disco... after all, we haven't had anything from then for a whole week!!!! Maybe random question generator with Brendon or Ryan might be sexy. If you ask some nice probing questions. "Random" my ass. Anyway. NOT JON!! Pleeease! He should never have been in the band, he looks like a tramp they found on the way to the recording studio. And he annoys me every time he opens his mouth.

Also, "diamond sea" - whilst the bands you list are undoubtedly greats in their own right, and they have made some awesome music.... get with the times!! You're living in some crazy 80s/90s nostalgia. You need to move on ok? It will be difficult, but it has to be done. See, EVERYONE has to be emo now, understand? Everyone else is having a total laugh with it, you should be enjoying it too. It's good for the soul.

But a gazillion kudos for the suggestion of NO MORE PARAMORE. That girl makes me sick.

You know , when I got that number with the poster of Frank Iero I was thinking " I love frank but the should put in a poster of Ray or bob or mikey instead cause They don't get that much attention in mags . and then , BANG !! there he is :)

Madina Lake are alright I guess, could be a worse band on the cover, lol the guy at the front's hair looks kinda hite! I know it's blonde but a thought just occured to me....are all these emo/screamo bands with fringes still going to have fringes when they're in their 40's/50's cos I mean have you not noticed that all emo/screamo bands appear to be in their late teens/early 20's. Has no one ever thought how silly they'd look in several years time in their skin tight drainpipes *shudders*

Kerrang, i buy your mag every week, but i hate pulling up to this page where everyone is practically critising everyone. Like fucking hell, yer theres gona be bands we dont like, but why waste your time saying how much u hate them!
id like to say well done to every single band that gets published in kerrang, because everyone who gets published in your mag, must be good, whether some people like them or not!
These bands have obviously got far in life!

Hey K!..I was just wondering why HIM is always in the magazine, but i never see a video on the channel. I mean there isnt even a number to phone in and request one of there videos. Thanks Kerrang! Thank you for putting another MCR poster in this weeeks issue! Especially it being one of Ray! Gerard and Frank are great, hot and telented. And you put more posters of them in the magazine than any of the other members (not that I am complaining) !! =P. I am really excited for this poster of Ray, who is, in my opinion, the best guitar player of our time. =). Next time one of Bob or Mikey, or if you really feel the need to, another one of Gerard and Frank would be nice still. =P

OMFG Thank God you put that page telling everyone that MCR are playin at the O2 and its there last UK tour date or I might have had to wait ages to see the best band in the hole world. I missed them when they played at Wembley as I was doing a school dance show and have been dying to go ever since. As soon as I saw the page I ran to my mum and because shes so great bought me four tickets to go with my friends. How FUCKING AWSOME is that!

The MCR thing, i kinda agree with. BUT.. on the brighter side, they are dropping The Black Parade. I have to be frank. Just a friendly opinion

Good magazine,
I've been a dedicated buyer for over a year now..
However I would like to raise the issue that the past few months or so it has gone a little down hill...
I will obviously continue buying in the hope that you will mend your ways and improve to continue with the previous standard.
A few requests:
More on the Smashing Pumpkins and Jimmy Eat World please?
Maybe some posters of them?
That would be nice..
And can you include more on Sonic Youth please?
They are true legends in my opinion and they single handedly pionered the DIY ethic of punk rock.

Anyway, that's all for now.
Hope my requests are took into account.

Hey me again,
well i love mcr, they rock and saved my life. i have to thank them for everything they've ever done for me, even know they'll never read this. i have IBS and low blood suger, im in a hospital alot gettin bloods tests and everything all the time and they are the ones who get me through it. i have a phobia of needles just like Gerard Way and when i have to get blood tests its them i listen too. my parents are divorced too, and they fight all the time and i turn to them. they truly saved my life, because i know how it is to want to not live, also like Gerard Way. they've saved my life and i love every single one of them in the band for it. so thank you Frankie Anthony Iero, Gerard Arthur Way, Robert Corey Bryar, Raymond Manuel Toro-Ortiz and Micheal James Way. i love every single one of you guys. so i think they deserve to be in this magazine more often, because i would love to see posters and get news on them.
