+44 Cancel European and UK shows

+44 have cancelled their upcoming UK shows, including the Carling Weekend Festival at Reading and Leeds.

"So we're going into the studio instead of playing these few dates," say the band. "We hope our fans will forgive us for the cancellation: in the end, this will make for an even better live show when we come back."

The group are currently working on the follow up to their debut 'When Your Heart Stops Beating'.

They want to record another album sooner, so let them be. Its dissappointing, but they'll be back, so fuck off and let the guys create another masterpiece.

They are playing on different days to AVA. They have let people down and haven't even apologised for it. Really has pissed me off that they expect us to believe they're doing it for the fans. No they just couldn't be arsed and stayed at home, that is what it comes down to.

They only had to play five dates, and they just couldn't be bothered. Shows what they're really in it for - money over passion. Any band with passion and love for their fans would play all their dates and want more.

I have just lost any respect for +44 I previously had. I will never be funding them.

FYI I thing +44s music is pretty good; not up to Blink standard but worth a listen and I was looking forward to the gig. Those that say get over it if you were a true fan etc are talking shit. People have paid to see them then they were let down. Sure this kind of thing happens BUT plus 44 have not apologised and their excuse is absolutely shit. Do you really think 3 weeks is going to make any difference because I don't. What is stopping them writing songs on the road, why do they have to do it in the time they were to perform these shows. At the end of the day they have made their choice and people will get over it. It shows they have no real consideration for their fans.

OK, I prefer Blink 182 to +44 and AVA. i'm pretty sure Blink 182 wouldn't have cancelled shows. I think that really sucks, I never got a ticket or anything but it still sucks for the people that did just because they want to go "back to the studio". Oh yeah more like a week holiday in Jamaica. It just means that they aren't loyal to the fans. The people who actually go out and buy their record and singles and merchandise. It really sucks.

+44 is the dumbest band ever. Mark used to be cool, but now he is a doosh bag. HIs music has no meaning, it is just him complaining about not being rich and famous anymore cuz of the blink break up. Anyone can write an angry song, but it takes real musical talent to write uplifting songs like AVA that make you want to do something with your life besides kill yourself.

Still though, +44 does need to work on their new album cuz the last one was shit. Thats why they started playing Blink songs, cuz their shit they call music couldnt attract anyone

If they actualy gave a shit about us they wouldn't of let us down. They are only doing it to compete with AVA. They are bringing a new album out so +44 are doing to same. They only had like 2 weeks of touring to go and they let millions of fans down just so they can see their ass and try and get back at tom delonge who is also a complete wanker. Travis got with paris hilton as well so his just a prick for doing that anyway.

i think this 1 of the best bands ever they cancelled some gigs and ok losin money is a bad thing but its no ones fault both aanda and +44 are brill and no one split blink up and any way its not like they were gonna still be together 4ever so dont come plain +44 gud look
