I stopped caring when the bloke started believing his own hype and sacked his "best mate" Nick Olivieri.

The last album was shite as well. Fingers crossed he can make an album anywhere near as good as Rated R again but I have my doubts.

2. From what i heard he had a very good reason for sacking his "best mate" nick oliveri dont ask what because i heard to many but they all seem plausible.
3.None of the albums are shite you just gotta give them time, just because the songs have'nt got that catchy no one knows tune does'nt mean they aint worth a listen, let them grow on you a bit.

I can never understand how people can't accept other peoples opinions. So what if there are people out there who hate queens? Does it make the music any less awsome for those of us who love them? NO!

I personaly think there music is fantastic, and can't wait to hear there new album.

era vulgaris is an awesome, mind blowing album. easily on a par with their first album. I can understand the little emo children hating this, as it isn't My Chemical "so shit we'll do a comic book to make money"romance but hopefully they'll learn*. QOTSA take a bow keep up the good work at least there is 1 major band trying new things.
* Kerrang you could help teach them by instead of printing photos of good looking vegans (who dresses up like a vampire, ironic huh) and start writing about the awesome music that is out there. And the Smashing pumpkins new stuff kicks ass as well.

And about the albums after Olivieri has left them: Lullabies To Paralyze just doesn't have that crazy attitude like "Quick And To The Pointless" and "Six Shooter"- and Era Vulgaris sounds like "Hey dude, we gotta get crazy again." But unfortunately - they aren't. I love the Queens but that's poor. You know, Lullabies and Era Vulgaris aren't bad albums but it's just not the Queens I love. So I keep listening to Rated R and Songs For The Deaf.........
