My Chemical Romance to begin work on new album

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has revealed to Kerrang! that the New Jersey emo quintet are itching to begin work on their follow-up to 2006's 'The Black Parade'.

"It feels like it's about the right time to be making a new record," says Way. "Maybe that's because 'The Black Parade' was talked about for so long before it was released, but it feels like that album's been out for a long time now. It's only been eight months but we're already on our fourth single and we've played a lot of shows.

"'The Black Parade' was the kind of record that you make but don't necessarily have a burning desire to perform because its creation was almost the point," he adds. "It was such an intense experience to make it, that there was almost a feeling of wanting to move on as soon as we released it. It was so artistically ambitious that it made us want to keep on creating."

Look seriously, if its such a big deal and you really dont like them then here's a clever idea...dont listen to them....Oh wait thats fucking logical isnt it, that would make too much sense, we cant be doing with that can we now? That's just out of order...honestly people get a grip, i considered people that are into alternative music would have been a hell of a lot more accepting of different bands but you all seem to behave exactly like chavs...and i pity you, I pity the fact that you just cannot grow up and deal with the fact that different people like different things...yes...that is a magical thing called individuality...you should try it sometime.
But I can fully understand why people consider MCR to be for little kids, but ignore the teenies they don't represent all the fans. They just make us look bad. And to all you teenies out there...let's focus on the music huh, not the actual members of the band.
Also, am i the only person that has noticed that people accuse MCR of being mainstream or whatever and following a scene or at least thats what ive heard...has anyone else noticed that suddenly a lot of people have jumped on the "Let's Hate MCR" bandwagon...seriously...it doesn't make you cool, but anyways the people who do like them just find your childish attempts at dissing MCR highly amusing...I know i do. Seriously, it's pathetic.

On a lighter note...sounds fucking awesome!! Last time i heard them talking about a new album it was meant to be much more like "Bullets"...they'll top the "Black Parade" easily, after all we never thought they could top "Three Cheers". Way to go guys!

Hi ,my Hubby and I are both MCR Fans , Also Metal and Death metal the heavier the better . What we both do not understand is People dissing Bands , I hate alot of music but its there for the people who like it and I DO NOT NEED TO LISTEN TO IT . So grow up and be more understanding ,maybe you feel better about yourselfs and find better things to do :) ....

Can't Wait But..

Black Parade was an awesome album don't get me wrong, but I hope the new one has an influence form Revenge album.. Much more involving lyrics from Black Parade and awesome riffs from Revenge..

I just want to know, why didn't MCR play any of bullets on their last tour?
I saw them in november and in march and they didnt play any of it =[

Also, if all the people who hate them took the time to listen to that album they might actually like it, cause its less pop-ish and most of the songs that get released are the rubbish ones!

Yippie...mas MCR!

If I knew how to do a backflip, I'd totally be doing one right about now! The more new music the merrier!

That being said...Those boys totally deserve a break, they've been touring their skinny lil' asses off now for quite some time and if it's not hard mentally, it sure does a number physically at the very least. Not saying that touring isn't mentally rough...being trapped in a tin can for long periods of time will drive anyone batty.

And as was said before me...if you havn't seen them yet...go do it. Talk about an amazing show!

My Chemical Romance and The Entire Situation

To Whom It May Concern:
Alot of people have recently started stating that MCR are just copying Manson, to this I have one thing to say[I am aware that it sound childish]:
Um, hello? How are they copying MM? I mean they actually play their own instruments and Gerard can actually SING unlike a certain freak I could mention....
Also, they do not treat women as if they were their play things, have you guys ever seen an MM video where he is NOT with some women in an abusive situation?
Isn't this whole thing about MCR "stealing" Mansons make up anyways? I mean, he doesnt have a copyright over that style!!!
And uh, guys no offence, but please stop leaving comments like "OMG!!! They are sooooo hot!!!" you're just giving us My Chem fans a bad name lol!

Whats happening to kerrang?!
I love this magazine , it was purely about the music and now i find that there are shitty little porn vids and sex calls n shit.
You shouldnt need this stuff to sell.
Its pissing me off cos where are the sexy guys that the girls can get on their phones cos all i can see is GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS which i would be fine with if I could also see GUYS GUYS GUYS.

My opinion is either have naked girls AND naked guys or dont have any at all.

basically not everyone is gona like the same bands...
yeah some people think mcr suck..some people dont...alot of people dont aswell coz if everyone did think they sucked then they wudnt be making records today or even be in business...
i...very much love mcr and the music, i think they have catchy beats and i love gerard ways singing...
i respect people dont like them, because i may not like some of the bands other people like..its just being individual, i dont see the point in slagging off people that like bands...who cares man...if they like them they like them.,..just drop it lol

oh yeah and i totally agree with hannah above... get some hot guys in the mag man ;] i know u have like ian watkins in the mag often...but get his kit off :D hehe..

I do not agree with the comment that mcr are copying marilyn mansons style... maybe there are a few small similarities, that are VERY SMALL...but alot of artists and bands do hav some similarities with each other, its how they create their own style like with a mixture of different things... or whatever lol

but anyway yeh main point...people will like what they like, and i dont think people should judge them for it...

the only thing im against is people liking bands becoz their friends do...or dressing like they dress becoz their friends do...i have like an orginal style like one day i will dress in my baggy jeans and a vest top, another day il dress in maybe a skirt and a baggy t-shirt, it all depends on how im feeling... people should be orginal
