Smashing Pumpkin tickets

Once again I logged on to both ticketmaster and seetickets this morning, got through dead on 9.30 and both sites are sold out of Smashing Pumpkins tickets! When is something going to be done about the ticket touting on sites like ebay..... they have been on sale on there since yesterday!!! Genunie fans have to miss out or pay extortionate prices to a tout.... how much does this suck????

Agree with Sue, was bang on it dead on 9.30 and stil missed out. How is this possible? If they were restricting tickets to 2 per person how come all these sold out ticket websites have loads for sale - at crazy prices??

Tickets

And they had been on sale on ebay for over 12 hours as I checked as soon as I couldn't get tickets through the legal routes - although ebay claim what they do is legal, it's still touting and encouraging touting!! Was there a pre release somewhere?? I've been to Shepherds Bush Empire a number of times, and no, it's not a huge place and you would expect it to sell out quickly, but that's just ridiculous!!

Tickets

normally when there is a big gig, the first load of tickets are sold via a pre sale for members only on the bands official members site. the tickets on ebay that had been on sale for over 12 hours were maybe from fan club members. also, the record label that the pumpkins are on would also give away tpromo tickets to people who work for them and to other companies involved, all before tickets go on sale to the public on ticket web or aloud. it is ridiculous but thats just the way it goes unfortunately.
